Acer Continues Mid-Range Smartphone Line with Liquid E1

A new mid-specification smartphone in the Acer Liquid line has surfaced, this time with a 4.5-inch, 540x960 IPS display. The Liquid E1 follows on from the Liquid E and Liquid Glow, but this time runs on Android 4.1.1 and has an improved specifications list compared to previous models, though it falls short of competing with other flagship models.

Powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor supported by 1GB of RAM, the Liquid E1 has a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera and a 0.3MP front-facing counterpart, and 4GB of internal storage upgradable by MicroSD. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR
