Amazon is the clear winner when it comes to deals on consumer electronics.
According to analysts, the e-commerce giant had the cheapest prices in the category for the first week of the month compared with both Wal-Mart, Target and other big-box players.
This marks Amazon's third-consecutive year of being the price leader in the space -- with prices 7.3% below the average -- according to Goldman Sachs' holiday pricing study.
In a similar study conducted by Deutsche Bank, Amazon had the cheapest prices in 14 out of the 20 items studied, including: Samsung 3D LED HDTV, Optoma Home Theater Projector
