Electronic Arts Offers Little Holiday Cheer

October 31, 2012

Electronic Arts Inc. isn't going to have as strong a holiday as some had hoped.

That was the message the Redwood City, Calif., game company had during its latest earnings results, in which it forecast holiday sales and earnings below Wall Street expectations.

The reason: its latest war-simulation-shooting game, "Medal of Honor: Warfighter," was poorly received by critics following its release last week, garnering a score of 50 out of 100 on, a popular game-review aggregation website.
