Boss Audio Systems has introduced two single-DIN sized infotainment head units with full iPod or iPhone control. The BVI9997B is a DVD/MP3 CD AM/FM receiver with a motorized 7-inch wide touchscreen TFT digital monitor.
Playback features include DVD±R/RW Video, CD±R/RW Audio & Video, MP3 / WMA and Bluetooth Audio Streaming.
Bluetooth hands-free is included on the BV199997B, while the BVI9994 is the same unit without the Bluetooth features. Both models feature front and rear outputs as well as sub outputs. They also have a video output.

Livio has spent the last year opening up to app developers with Livio Connect, but now, CEO Jake Sigal sees an opportunity in traditional radio he's calling FM Connect.
"We've gone airborne," says Sigal. FM Connect takes the traditional FM radio signal and creates a two-way link between the broadcaster and the Bluetooth connected smartphone.
Pioneer understands that people are already carrying around all the content they need on their smartphones and they are making it easier than ever to access it.
"The smartphone has become the source for consumer entertainment. They want to share content from their device(s) and we're making that happen, whether it's at home, in the car, or on the go," said Russ Johnston, executive vice president of corporate communications for Pioneer Electronics.
