MTX Audio, of the MiTek Electronics and Communications Group, announced today that it will be launching a new business strategy at CES 2013. According to Loyd Ivey, President and founder, "this is a fundamental change in the way MTX delivers products to its customers that will bring back the fun, passion, and profitability to the mobile audio business."
"Mobile audio is a brutally competitive, rapidly changing industry," says Ivey. "Despite major shifts in the mobile audio market, many in the industry are clinging to antiquated business models that make it impossible to compete.

There’s one thing about car audio that is consistent—it’s fun. The whole experience sometimes has more to do with show than sound. When you get the opportunity to install a system in something other than a car, the challenges can provide a lot of fun indeed.
