OLED TV Begins to Shows Some Signs of Life

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TVs have been promoted for years as the ultimate display technology. They're wafer thin, light weight, bright, very energy efficient, creates rich saturated colors, have no motion blur and  a very wide viewing angle. However, until a number of new announcements last week, the technology appeared to be unable to overcome huge obstacles to mass production. Below we list the bad news and the recent good news.
