The new line of multimedia DVD receivers, consisting of the AVH-X1500DVD, AVH-X2500BT, AVH-X3500BHS, AVH-X4500BT and AVH-X5500BHS, features Pioneer's exclusive Advanced App Mode, smartphone connectivity and MIXTRAX virtual DJ technology plus high resolution touchscreen displays, DVD/CD media playback, USB connectivity, Pandora internet radio connectivity and more.

On Monday, Pioneer Electronics Inc., announced the winners of its first AppRadio Hackathon held last week during the 2012 Specialty Equipment Manufacturer Association (SEMA) Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event occurred over a 69-hour period and had more than 81 registered developers, who competed to develop the best new apps compatible with Pioneer's AppRadio products.

Advanced Marketing and Distribution (AMD) and Western Sales and Marketing Rep Company have announced plans to join forces as the AD WEST Group.
The new group, the company said, plans to "further increase the product offerings and one-stop services provided to independent mobile electronic retailers."
