Sonos announced the SUB a short while back and as of today, it looks like the subwoofer has come available for purchase. Well, we should clarify, while the Sonos SUB is available for purchase, it will not begin shipping until the end of July. Furthermore, according to the folks at Sonos “quantities are currently limited.”

Sonos will add a deep-bass element to its lineup of wireless music systems when it begins shipping on June 19th the first version of its new SUB – a virtually wireless (save for the power plug) subwoofer that can be set up to work with other Sonos components with just one button and uses a series of proprietary designs and technologies tuned to the company’s amplified products.
