Those of us in the gaming industry might know to take rumors about the next console generation with a grain of salt, but those outside? They don't always get the memo.
That happened yesterday after Edge reported the following from a "source with first-hand experience" with Microsoft's next unnamed console:
"It is believed that games purchased on disc will ship with activation codes, and will have no value beyond the initial user."
