The Fine Sounds Group, the parent company of McIntosh Labs, is being sold as part of a management buyout. Fine Sounds CEO Mauro Grange and McIntosh president Charlie Randall are leading the buyout, with backing from LBO France and Yarpa.

Fine Sounds' portfolio includes Sonus Faber, Audio Research Corporation, Wadia Digital, Sumiko and McIntosh, the latter of which Fine Sounds acquired from D&M two years ago.

"When Charlie and I met, there was instant chemistry," Grange said in a statement. "We both had the same vision for the future – merging Fine Sounds and McIntosh in order to create a leading group of luxury lifestyle brands. When the opportunity presented itself to buy Fine Sounds back from Quadrivio, it was a dream come true for us both."
