At a time when many retail chains are announcing store closings, Aaron's said this week that it has opened 32 new stores across North America.
The lease-to-own retailer said this week that has recently opened stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Texas, as well as Alberta and British Columbia.
"Last year was incredibly strong with a 6.6 percent increase in store count and financial results that were the best in the Company's history," Aaron's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Ronald W. Allen said as part of the announcement. "We are pleased to begin 2013 with an equally optimistic outlook for store growth and subsequent job opportunities."
