Adorama to Feature MakerBot

3D printing pioneer MakerBot has announced another retail partnership. MakerBot and New York’s Adorama have reached an exclusive in-store partnership and reseller agreement which will both showcase MakerBot products in its flagship store and make MakerBot its “3D Printing Partner of Choice.”

Adorama will feature and sell MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printers and the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner, as well as MakerBot Filaments.

“MakerBot’s agreement with Adorama is a major step forward in expanding our retail presence to bring 3D printing to a variety of different retailers and locations,” Mark Schulze, vice president of sales for MakerBot, said as part of the announcement.

“In the past three decades, Adorama has evolved from its modest beginning as a mom-and-pop store to become one of the best known and most respected retailers for photo, video and imaging products. Adorama’s passion for innovation, creativity and customer service makes the store a great addition for showcasing the exciting 3D printing technology that MakerBot offers.”
