The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers Thursday named
Kevin Washington its new director of government affairs.
Washington comes to the work from his previous possession as director of the office of legislative affairs at the FCC.
“Kevin comes to AHAM with substantial strategic and political experience in public policy as well as working with state governments, the US Congress, and federal agencies. We look forward to Kevin leading AHAM’s advocacy efforts for the home appliance industry in the states,” Kevin Messner, AHAM's vice president of government relations, said as part of the announcement.
