Alpine Electronics announced that it will supply the premium branded audio system for the 2013 Dodge Dart.
The system will use nine loudspeakers and Euphony Automobile Surround Sound to give a theater-like sound experience, and a high-excursion dual voice coil subwoofer in the rear for high-powered bass. There will also be five 3.5-inch full-range and four 6x9-inch mid-bass speakers throughout the car for each passenger. A 12-channel 506 watt amplifier with Digital Signal Processing provides control.
The system was tuned specifically for the interior acoustics of the Dodge Dart and employs real-time tuning features.
