Apple Store to Open in Philadelphia

Confirming months of rumors, Apple is hiring for a new retail store on Walnut Street in Center City Philadelphia, which would be the first Apple Store in that city.

According to the Web site Technically Philly, Apple has begun placing ads on CraigsList for employees for a new store. The ads are seeking applicants for "Genius" support employees.

There are several Apple stores in Philadelphia's suburbs, both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
