Apple's "iPad Mini" Now in Production

Apple's Asian suppliers have begun production of the smaller version of the company's iPad tablet, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
The report, citing "people with knowledge of the situation," stated that the smaller iPad will sport a 7.85-inch LCD screen. It is meant to compete with smaller, less expensive rivals from Amazon and Google.
Apple has not announced a release date or pricing for the device.
