Runco Debuts LED Projectors
September 10, 2009At CEDIA Expo this week, Runco will unveil the Q-750i and Q-750d, its two first-ever LED-based home theater projectors. Developed along with Texas Instruments, the products are set to arrive later this year.
"LED-based projection is incredibly complex and Runco has significantly invested to lead in this category,” Runco CEO Gerry Perkel said as part of the announcement.
“QuantumColor is a revolutionary solution that maximizes LED performance and offers a never-before-seen color gamut. But, having these features is only part of the magic. To make this a revolutionary new platform, Runco created proprietary technologies that harness the impressive color gamut to create images that are nothing short of stunning.”
The Q-750i is scheduled to ship in November at an MSRP of $14,995, while the Q-750d will arrive in December at a price of $17,995.
