Audi Seen Announcing Google In-Car AllianceDecember 30, 2013
We now know the reason for Audi's big presence at next month's International CES, which includes a keynote from executive Rupert Sadler and an "Audi Night" at the Cosmopolitan hotel.
The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Audi will team up with Google to announce that the two companies are joining forces to "develop in-car entertainment and information systems that are based on Google's Android software."
The project is meant to make Android apps and other features available to drivers. The Journal story sees the initiative as a reaction to Apple's similar in-car plans.
