BenQ has announced the introduction of its new EW40 series of monitors. The products feature mobile high-definition link (MHL) technology, an all-new Cinema Mode and 3:000-1 contrast ratios.

"As users are increasingly turning to cloud-based content consumption as their main source for entertainment with popular platforms like Aereo, Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, and more, BenQ has developed a unique solution that enables enhanced large screen viewing from any video source or portable device," Bob Wudeck, Associate Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at BenQ America Corp, said as part of the announcement.

"With options aimed at optimizing picture quality, consumers can now bring connected entertainment directly into their permanent work or living space through a contemporary, feature-filled multipurpose display."

The EW2440L and EW2740L are available now at retail prices of $299 and $499, respectively.
