Best Buy Dropping Connect

Best Buy said Thursday that it will discontinue its Best Buy Connect mobile broadband service. Engadget reported that the company confirmed the service's shuttering.

The company is closing the service after determining that it "can achieve greater growth by delivering mobile broadband support in ways other than an exclusive Best Buy-branded service," Engadget said. Best Buy Connect will close June 1.
