Richard Schulze's bid to take over Best Buy is on life support, the company has delayed its earnings release, set for later this week, by a day.
According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, the company will announce earnings at 7 a.m. on Friday, instead of Thursday as planned. Schulze's deadline to submit a bid for the company is Feb. 28, which is Thursday.
Best Buy "didn't want to announce our earnings that morning and not give him the full day," a company spokesman told the Journal.
