Best Buy plans to open more smaller, Best Buy Mobile locations in strip malls in the coming years, Bloomberg News reported this week.

The strategy is part of a Best Buy move to move into smaller locations with cheaper rent, a trend that began under former CEO Brian Dunn. Best Buy will target vacant storefronts, including many in former Blockbuster locations, Bloomberg said.
