Best Buy Cuts Blu-ray Price To Under $200

Blu-ray Disc players have begun crossing the $200 barrier, as Best Buy has begun cutting the price of one Blu-ray player to $199.99.

According to Punchjump.com and confirmed by the company's Web site, the Blu-ray player carrying Best Buy's in-house Insignia brand has gotten a $30 price cut to below $200. More players are expected to cross that threshold ahead of the holidays, although none containing BD-Live capability or other cutting-edge technologies.
