Best Buy is looking at possibly grabbing retail locations vacated by bankrupt retailers, but its top priority at this point is "staying cash strong," its CEO told Reuters this week.

Speaking to the news agency at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the company's outgoing chief executive, Brad Anderson, said that the economy is making Best Buy more cautious about such moves than it normally would be.

Anderson will step down in June, with President and COO Brian Dunn set to take his place.
