Best Buy Loses Two Directors
Two members of Best Buy’s board of directors, including its former interim CEO, have resigned, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
George “Mike” Mikan III, who survey as interim chief executive after the departure of Brian Dunn and before Hubert Joly was hired, has resigned to accept a position with ESL Investments. Another board member, Matthew Paull, will also step down in April.
The news comes amid Richard Schulze’s attempt to pursue a takeover of the company.
