Best Buy has appointed Sharon McCollam as its company's new chief financial officer, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Sunday.
McCollam is a former COO and CFO for Williams-Sonoma. She will replace former CFO Jim Muehlbauer on new CEO Hubert Joly's team.
Meanwhile, the takeover bid led by Best Buy founder Richard Schulze is expected to arrive "before December," Reuters reported. The bid, according to the report, is expected below the $8 billion figure originally proposed.
