Best Buy is going forward with plans to build a new store in the John Hancock Center in Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The store is set to open in the late spring or early summer of this year. The building is on Michigan Ave., in the heart of the Windy City's shopping district.

The company had announced last week that even though it has folded Magnolia Home Theater's operations into its own and closed several stores, it still plans to build a new Magnolia location in the Chicago area.
