Super Bowl XLVII was played Sunday night, with the Baltimore Ravens defeating the San Francisco 49ers in wild game that at one point included a 30-minute blackout delay. The game, as usual, featured expensive, elaborate TV commercials, including three from the CE world: by Best Buy, BlackBerry and Samsung.
The Best Buy spot featured actress and comedian Amy Poehler in a Best Buy store asking for purchase advice:
The BlackBerry spot, somewhat strangely, concentrated mostly on the things that the new BlackBerry 10 operating system and smartphones can't do:
And the Samsung ad, which ran in the fourth quarter of the game, featured Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen arguing about their shared fame, later joined by both Bob Odenkirk and LeBron James.
