Best Buy will soon open a new "Gadgets and eReaders" section in each of its stores, the retail giant announced Thursday. The sections will begin appearing Sunday, and will be emphasized by Best Buy this holiday season. The products include everything from the Sharper Image to the newest Rubik's Cube.

The new section, which will be located near Best Buy's music and movie selections, will include such electronic readers as the Sony Reader Touch & Pocket Edition, as well as the IREX DR800SG eReader.

On the gadget side, Best Buy will feature several products from the resurgent Sharper Image line, with a dozen projects ranging from iPod/iPhone accessories to shower mirrors to the The Livescribe Pulse smartpen computer. Also offered are such electronic games as Rubik’s TouchCube, to kids' products.

In addition, Best Buy will launch a new Web site this weekend for the venture, located at www.bestbuy.com/gadgets
