Big Expansion For Staples ConnectJuly 1, 2014
Staples has announced a major expansion for its Staples Connect home and office automation platform. The concept will be expanded to 500 stores, while adding collaborations with Microsoft, Jawbone, and D-Link.
The company will offer Staples Connect in-store displays, featuring products from 35 partners, including Lutron, Philips, Honeywell, First Alert, Yale, Kwikset, Schlage, Leviton, Cooper, GE, D-Link, , Radio Thermostat. In addition, the platform will feature such wearables as the UP24 by Jawbone.
“Staples Connect offers the best-in-class home and office automation solution, with the widest array of product and services from the most trusted brands,” Mike Edwards, executive vice president, merchandising, Staples, said as part of the announcement.
“Our in-store expansion shows that Staples is committed to providing our customers the newest tech offerings and innovations, like Staples Connect, so they can make more happen in their business and at home.”
