Blaupunkt Expands Distributor’s Territory in Southeastern USJanuary 2007
“The result of this new distribution agreement will be an increase in the availability of Blaupunkt’s high-quality products to independent dealers, as well as a major expansion of P&E’s 12-volt operations in the southeastern states,” said Josh Eatherly, P&E’s 12-volt sales manager.
P&E, a 40-year-old distributor of automotive parts and accessories, is headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tenn., with branches in Chattanooga, Memphis and Marietta, Ga.
Over the last year, Blaupunkt has expanded its relationships with independent regional distributors, which the company said provides major cost and efficiency benefits.
“Our transition to factory-direct distribution in the southeast has been significantly accelerated due to the hard work and great sales performance of P&E Distributors,” said Lutz Marschall, Blaupunkt’s general manager. “Now, with the addition of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia to their distribution network, we anticipate an even greater upsurge in sales in this region.”
