Blaupunkt has shipped the new San Diego mp27 car radio

The car radio manufacturer Blaupunkt has announced the shipping of its latest product, the San Diego mp27 car radio. The receiver plays both standard and mp3-encoded CDs, and plays up to 10 hours of music on a single CD.

The radio is also compatible with the company’s iPod interface.

The company, which is affiliated with Bosch, will sell the product at a suggested retail price of $149.95. No placement deals with car manufacturers have yet been announced.
