Car and Driver and Summit CE Group to Introduce Innovate Dash Cam Line at CES 2016
The Summit CE Group has teamed up with Hearst Brand Development to launch a new line of Car and Driver-branded dash cams. The new line will make its debut next week at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, which runs from January 6 through 9.
The new dash cams, which will carry the brand name of one of the country’s leading automotive magazines, is the “ultimate eyewitness recording of everything that occurs on the road” and includes a whole host features: 1080p recording, loop recording, accident/motion detection, auto on/off, parking mode, night vision to Wide Dynamic Range, GPS logger, lane departure warnings, WiFi and 3G connectivity, and Android-powered touch screen models. (Take a breath.) All of the Car and Driver dash cams are plug and play, and hardwire installation is not required, the Summit CE Group explained.
