CE Week Wednesday: Line Shows, Digital Downtown, Second Screen Summit and More
CE Week 2012 continues Wednesday with the opening of CEA Line Shows and the Digital Downtown conference, as well as several other major events in New York.
Digital Downtown highlights Wednesday will include an industry update from CEA chief economist Shawn DuBravac, followed by an executive one-on-one with President and CEO Gary Shapiro and CEA President Randy Fry of Fry’s Electronics. Also scheduled are panels on “Selling the Full Solution,” headphones, next-gen TV, iOS accessories and the blogosphere.
In addition, several companies will hold press conferences Wednesday, including Monster, Pioneer and Stream TV. See the full conference schedule here.
The Line Shows floor, featuring 120 exhibitors, will open at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The show continues Thursday.
Also scheduled Wednesday for CE Week include the Developer University, 2nd Screen Summit, Mobile Apps showdown and a closing cocktail party.
