CEA to Honor Sens. Klobuchar and Portman, Voxx’s Shalam

The Consumer Electronics Association has announced its honorees for next month’s 10th annual Digital Patriots Dinner, and they include a pair of Senators- Democrat Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Republican Rob Portman of Ohio- as well as VOXX International founder and chairman John Shalam.

This year’s dinner is set for April 29 at the National Building Museum in Washington.

Klobuchar was chosen for her work on such issues as patent litigation reform, immigration reform and marketplace fairness, while Portman, a former U.S. trade representative, encouraged free trade. Shalam has long been active in CEA.
