Consumer electronics were the second most popular item on Black Friday after clothing, with nearly half of those who shopped on that day buying some CE product.
That's according to the Consumer Electronics Association's Black Friday survey, conducted in conjunction with Caravan and released Tuesday.
Electronics, meanwhile, represented one third of all gift spending, with TVs, smartphones, tablets, digital cameras and video game consoles among the most popular items.
