CEDIA Expo Non-Exhibitor Attendance Grows

CEDIA said Monday that non-exhibitor attendance at last week's CEDIA Expo showed a four percent gain over 2011 figures. The show's attendance was 16,900, from 71 countries, CEDIA said. 

The show hosted 450 exhibitors, including 90 new ones, in Indianapolis.

That is the biggest bunch of bull ever! I was at the show and it was dead. Is CEDIA counting everyone, in every booth, each and every day? That is the only way you could come up with that kind of attendance. (maybe they went by registrations & 1/2 the people never came) The vendors exhibiting was also way down. The booths had a ton of space between them & there were tables & chairs interspersed to fill in empty areas. CEDIA better ger there arms around this before Denver or this show will go the way of Comdex & Summer CES!
