Head Monster Noel Lee is “Going Retro” and leaping forward at the same time. The standing room only Monster press conference at International CES revealed his ongoing commitment to the headphone market, a stellar new lineup of partnerships and bringing back the legacy Monster M Series including products such as the M 2.2 speaker cable and heavy duty connectors.
Lee was quick to point out that the last 35 years have seen 300 Monster legacy patents throughout the world, but the best is yet to come.
“Monster is a platform for creativity, innovation, and collaboration and the Monster legacy going forward is all about ‘Pure Monster Sound,” Lee said. “Our audio quality gets us closer to the music with greater transparency so you can hear every note and every detail of every instrument.”
Lee continues to forge new and impressive partnerships with leading celebrities and brands. Two leading celebrities were on hand to explain their partnerships were musician and TV host Nick Cannon and retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.
Nick Cannon’s ‘N-Credible Monster Partnership’ includes scores of appearances and endorsements for this musical content creator, including, America’s Got Talent, #Best Yourself Honda Commercial and the Queen Latifah Show.
“I’ve always loved the Monster quality and style and I feel Noel is passing the baton on to me and saying ‘run with it’,” Cannon said. “Working with these great Monster headphones is a wonderful way for the kids to get into music DJing and other musical pursuits.” Also announced was Monster getting into producing TV shows. Said Nick, “ Powered by Monster Productions is going to be way more than just product placement.”
Shaquille O’Neal was all about the high-powered portable wireless speakers and quipped, “Size does matter. Other impressive partnerships included Adidas.

The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) partnership with the Monster Octagon headphone, aligns because, “Fighters need music throughout their day-to-day existence from training, to traveling and amping up before a big match…music adds intensity to the event,” Lee said.
The WPT (World Poker Tour) partnership is the only televised sporting event where players use headphones throughout the the game. Monster will receive unprecedented media coverage going forward.
