Circuit City this week said goodbye to a long-serving board member. Barbara S. Feigin, who had been a director of the troubled retail chain since 1994, resigned from the company last week, the Richmond Times Dispatch newspaper reported this week, citing SEC filings.

Felgin's departure reduces the size of the board to 12 members, just four months after the company agreed to increase it from 12 to 15 as part of a settlement with dissident investor Wattles Capital Management.

Why are we asking this?

Ahhh.

The rats are now leaving the sinking ship.

Hey Barbara, you could have done something good for the stockholders before you left: You could have submitted a motion to the board to cancel the $1.8 million $$$ payout to Schoonover.

Why do you think he deserves a payout after he effectively destroyed the company you and your fellow board members were responsible for managing? Don't you feel the least bit guilty?

Or are you leaving now because you are worried about the shareholder lawsuits you and the other board members will be facing once CC files for Chapter 7?
