Cisco Systems Monday announced the release of
a new line of Flip Video cameras. The cameras include more affordable versions of the UltraHD and MinoHD cameras.
Both cameras will be available in 4GB and 8GB denominations, with the two UltraHD cameras costing $149.99 and $199.99, and the two MinoHD cameras costing $179.99 and $229.99. All are available in multiple colors; both 8GB versions can record two hours of video while both 4GB versions can record one hour.
The company also announced the launch of Designed For Flip, a new program for Flip camera accessories, made possible by the introduction of an accessory port. Blue Mics on Monday announced the Mikey for Flip, a new external microphone for the Flip video cameras.
