Core Brands Expands TV Speaker Line at CEDIASeptember 25, 2013
Core Brands' Speakercraft introduced two new models, the smaller CS1 and the larger CS5, plus a redesign of its CS3 TV speaker series. The products are designed to fit under a flat-panel TV set, and they include a larger remote and a front panel display. The new TV speakers can also learn IR remote commands.
All of the new TV Speakers feature Bluetooth connectivity and feature a USB connector to charge devices.
Keith Marshall, Core Brands, said in a press release:
"Excited as we are about all the features we've added to the new TV Speakers, we're just as stoked about the sound. A lot of reviewers picked the original CS3 as the best new sound bar-type product last year, but the new models take it a step further. All of them use drivers designed specifically for this line. We've also added Dolby Digital decoding to the top two models and bumped up the power. So, not only are the TV Speakers the easiest way to upgrade TV sound, it is our belief that they're the best way."
The SpeakerCraft CS5 has an MSRP of $849 and delivery is scheduled for Q2 2014.
The SpeakerCraft CS3 has an MSRP of $649 and delivery is Q2 2014.
The SpeakerCraft CS1 has an MSRP of $449 with Q1 2014 delivery.
