Cory Celebrates 80 Years

Cory Home Delivery has celebrated its 80th anniversary with a gala at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. The event drew 250 industry dignitaries and associates.

The New Jersey-based delivery company was founded in 1934 by Joseph Cory.

“We are truly honored that so many came together to celebrate,” CEO Patrick Cory, grandson of founder Joseph Cory and son of chairman of the board Joe Cory, Sr., said as part of the announcement. “This is the dawn of a new era, predicated by consumers’ extensive use of cell phones to make purchases and track orders. The time from purchase to delivery is radically compressed. People want deliveries faster than ever before.”
