Cory Home Delivery of Secaucus, N.J., recently celebrated 75 years of service with a company gala at the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel in New Jersey.

The company was founded by Joseph Cory in 1934, at the height of the Great Depression. Now, the third-generation family-owned and operated business that is America’s No. 1 home delivery company is celebrating its diamond anniversary.

The company is now headed by sons Joe and Jim Cory and managed by grandsons Kevin and Patrick Cory, along with a management team that includes Bob Alter, Odeh Ahmad, Marin Dragojevic and Pat Trinca.

“As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, transitioning to third-generation family leadership and innovation are keys to continuing success in serving retailers nationwide,” says Joe Cory, Sr., said a spart of the announcement.

”As my grandfather would often say, in our business there are only two things of importance,” Patrick Cory said. “One is the customer, and the other is the furniture.  If you take care of customers, they come back.  If you take care of the furniture, it doesn’t.
It’s just that simple — and just that difficult. We look forward to continuing to serve the retail industry and hopefully, being here for the next 75 years."
