Definitive Technology this week announced the launch of the Sound Cylinder, its first product in the Bluetooth speaker system category. The product will debut at Interantioanl CES next week.
The product sports a clip system which attaches the speaker to both tablet and laptop computers. It doubles as a table stand for tablets, and has an MSRP of $199.
“Thanks to rapid advances in portable devices such as tablets and smart phones, enjoying music and video content on the go is within the reach of everyone” Kevin Duffy, Definitive Technology’s President, said in a statement. “Headphones are fine but they’re not always practical, especially when you want to share an audio experience with others. Sound Cylinder answers the need for convenient high quality audio on the move.”
Definitive can be found at booth 4809 in the North Hall at CES.
