Dell Reportedly Working on Web Gadget

Dell is planning another foray into non-computer consumer electronics, with the company at work on a portable Web-browsing gadget, the Wall Street Journal reported this week.

The paper, citing sources familiar with Dell's plans, said the device will run Google's Android operating system, and will otherwise be similar to the iPod Touch, although slightly larger.

Dell did not comment on the report.
