D&H Distributing has announced a number of new personnel appointments in their Consumer Electronics and Home Entertainment divisions in order to "strengthen… internal focus on the customer/retail side" and meet "the expanding needs of this customer base."
The appointments include Trevor May and André Lalande in leadership roles within the Home Entertainment division, as well as the creation of a position designed to manage customer onboarding.
Jeff Davis, Senior VP of Sales at D&H, stated that "we're thrilled to add new resources to this side of our business, by way outstanding personnel with unique perspectives and decades of savvy business acumen" and said D&H looked forward to "a high level of performance" and "offering even deeper support to customers.”
Trevor May, executive director for vendor management, has over 20 years of experience in the CE industry, having overseen sales and merchandising activities for a major retail chain, as well as maintained relationships with companies such as HP, Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung.
André Lalande, the new senior director of HE sales, previously worked as director of corporate alliances with URC (Universal Remote Control) and in other high-level positions overseeing "sales, business management, and marketing projects" at companies that include Lutron Electronics, Philips, and Nortel. He has gathered more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles in North America in fields such as retail, home, and consumer electronics.
In addition, John Alifano, employee and co-owner of D&H as well as former director of HE sales has been appointed to the new position of "senior director of customer acquisitions and special projects" where he will manage "all aspects of new customer onboarding."
