D&H Distributing will host its Mid-Atlantic Fall Technology Trade Show on October 26 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA. This week, the company announced specific details about the show, including its education lineup for dealers, and the vendor lineup. The show will open at 11 a.m. with seminars running from 12:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.
D&H said it expects around 900 reseller, retailer, and dealer attendees. Those visitors will get the chance to walk a show floor of more than 100 participating vendors.
“It’s been an exhilarating year at D&H Distributing, wherein we’ve added resources and personnel,” Mary Campbell, vice president of marketing at D&H, said in the statement. “This show is the culmination of a successful trade event season in the US market, delivering the latest innovations and product knowledge to our customers as we move toward a prosperous 2018. We’ve always worked hard to support our dealers and retailers by arming them with tools to capitalize on the latest market developments. Our evolving trade shows are a growing part of that strategy.”
Over the past few shows, D&H has placed an emphasis on comprehensive training as it looks to transition from a traditional selling event. This year’s fall show will feature educational sessions from some of the top tech vendors like Intel, HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Lenovo, and others. In addition to those vendors running sessions, they’ll be on the show floor showcasing product alongside other vendors like ASUS, Acer, Dell, Epson, Logitech, MSI, Samsung, and more. In an announcement, D&H highlighted a few vendors making their debut at the show, which include Canary Connect, DataLocker, Kendall Howard, and Nest Labs.
Last year, Dealerscope was on hand as the distributor debuted a gaming pavilion experience at its fall show. This year, D&H said it will premier a few new, themed pavilions for the Connected Home and Digital Office. There, attendees will get a “first-hand look” at working smart home and office technologies in a “realistic setting,” D&H explained. The space is intended to demonstrate an automated, modern, living/working space, and will feature products in the security/thermostat space along with wireless range extenders, electrical outlets, remotes, appliances, and more. Brand featured will include Amazon, Westinghouse, Linksys/Belkin, and NETGEAR among others.
Dealerscope will again be on hand at this year’s D&H Fall Technology Trade Show, so check back soon for follow up coverage of the event.
