Noting that with the exception of ESPN the Magazine, "everyone gets our content through consumer electronics devices," ESPN 3D head Bryan Burns announced the sports media giant's CES plans. They include:
- A live series of sanctioned boxing matches in Central Hall on Jan. 12, which will be broadcast on ESPN 3D.
- Live broadcasts of ESPN's "SportsNation" show with hosts Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle, as well as Cowherd's ESPN Radio show, from the CES show floor on Jan. 11. The TV broadcast will double as the first-ever 3D broadcast of an ESPN studio show.
- ESPN will also show the annual BCS Championship Game live and in 3D at the Hilton Theater on Jan. 9.
