Alan Mulally will again deliver a keynote address at International CES in January, CEA announced Thursday. Mulally, who also spoke the last two years at CES, will be one of two auto execs keynoting the event; Audi's
Rupert Stadler was announced as a keynoter earlier in the week.
"It's an honor to be invited back to deliver a keynote address," Mulally said in a statement. "As we work to serve our customers with the very best cars and trucks with best-in-class, smart technology, the consumer electronics industry plays a really important role, and there’s no better place to deliver technology news than the International CES."
The organizers of CES also announced that the show will feature a new Electric Vehicle TechZone, taking up 3,500 square feet in the Las Vegas Convention Center's North Hall.
"Major automotive exhibitors like Audi, Ford, GM OnStar and Toyota will be at CES to share their latest automotive electronics innovations," Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA, said as part of the announcement. "CES is the place to be for in-vehicle electronics, including both vehicle OEMs and the aftermarket. Telematics and consumer-centric apps will enable a host of in-vehicle services.
