According to Home Media Magazine, Fry's Electronics has continued to sell, at low prices, both hardware and software in the format. In fact, the chain is even offering bundles of the HD DVD Xbox 360 add-on along with either five movies or combinations of movies with TV-on-DVD sets.
A Fry's executive told the magazine that the chain had a lot of HD DVD material remaining from the days of the format war, which ended in early 2008 when parent company Toshiba pulled the plug.
